Yesterday, we reblogged a post from EasyChairSports which listed ESPN’s player rankings from last to first. Coming in at number 500 out of 500 is Royce White, who might be a forward for the Sixers, or might never play in the NBA.
This is the second time in the past three seasons that a Sixer has been ranked as the NBA’s worst player, the first being Lavoy Allen in 2011. Allen played well and ESPN eventually apologized to him for the lack of confidence in his ability to be mediocre. He used that apology as motivation to slack off during is second season (Romney’s loss also hurt him a little bit, but not too much).
The rankings don’t really mean anything, and I mean, someone has to be last, but should White be listed behind Tim Ohlbrecht? The better question is, is Kwame Brown really the 450th best player in the NBA?
